I am a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
I will join the University of Saskatchewan as an Assistant Professor of Economics in July, 2025.
My research lies at the intersection of urban and environmental economics.
I use big data and causal inference methods to address two important challenges facing society today: climate change and housing. I evaluate the effectiveness, equity, and reach of climate adaptation strategies and investigate the causes and consequences of housing inequity, with a particular focus on racial disparities in housing access and affordability.
My work aims to provide the insights necessary for evidence-based decision-making that supports both climate resilience and fair housing outcomes.
